Easter Break
The Easter Break begins with an early release on Holy Thursday, April 28th and school resumes on Monday, April 8th. We wish you a happy and holy Easter!
Upcoming Photos
- Spring Photos—Thursday, April 11th
Lifetouch Studios will be on campus on Thursday, April 11th for Spring Photos. Students have free dress for these special photos and are encouraged to wear their Sunday best. Parents will have the opportunity to select the background for their child’s photo. Selection forms will be sent home with students after the Easter break and parents are asked to complete the form and return it with their students prior to picture day. Please note that THIS IS NOT AN ORDER FORM! Orders will be placed AFTER photo packages are received.
- Rescheduled Class Photos—Monday, April 15th
Students wear their dress uniforms for class photos—no PE uniforms or dress-out clothes. These photos are by pre-order only. If you have not yet ordered a photo, please use the form that went home prior to the originally scheduled date. Additional forms are available at the receptionist’s desks in Thea and Siena. Orders are due to homeroom teachers by picture day.

Please be sure to note in the Community Handbook the list of awards that students may earn at The Franciscan School. Beginning this year, the school no longer awards the perfect attendance award.
It’s Our Little Artists’ BIG EVENT!
Join us as The Franciscan School Student Art Show kicks off with “Masterpiece Monday”, MAY 6thin Jacoba Hall from 6:00-8:00 PM. Festivities will feature Exhibits for All Grades K-8, refreshments, and the debut of our TFS CHORUS!!! Artwork will remain on display thru Friday, May 17th. Please check in at the main office between 8:00 AM & 2:00 PM weekdays to visit.
Interested in Cheerleading at TFS? Try Our Summer Camp!
Rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders interested in cheerleading for the 2013-2014 season are welcome to join us at Cheer Camp the week of July 15th. Camp will be held at Alpha Athletics in Cary, NC. Volunteers Needed for Receptionist’s Desk in Siena
Volunteers are needed to staff the reception desk in Siena. No experience necessary and training is provided! Afternoon shifts from 12:00-3:00 PM are available every school day—sign up for one or as many as you like! Contact Tresa Pickup at tresa.pickup@stfrancisraleigh.org.
