VISION OF YOUTH MINISTRY
The Youth Ministry Program serves youth in grades 6 through 12 and their families.
Through a model of relational ministry, our youth are encouraged to come to know Jesus through their relationships with their families, peers, the greater community of St. Francis of Assisi and the world.
During Sunday evening Youth Nights, our teens are catechized using small group sharing and prayer, games, talks, as well as large group activities. Quarterly Family Events help build upon this teaching and engage the youths’ families as well.
Through various service opportunities and events, our youth live the mission of the Church and learn about her Social Justice Teachings.
Our retreats and ministry training programs help our youth recognize and appreciate what gifts and talents they possess and learn how to use those gifts for the glory of God.
Special events help to make our teens feel “at home” at St. Francis, a place where they can have fun and be themselves, while knowing that they are valued and loved!
