Post High School Outreach
Did you know Youth Ministry has a group of teens and adults that reach out to our youth after graduation?
As part of their ministry, they would like to send letters to our SFA Youth who are now serving in the military. Currently we have one person serving overseas, of which we are aware.
Our hope is to have a letter or card sent every week to him. Can you help? Please see the sign up genius to volunteer for a week (or as many weeks as you like!) and for more information.
If you know of any other St. Francis Youth that are currently serving in the military or if you have any questions, please contact Tresa Pickup.
St. Francis Meal Ministry
Have you been looking to use your cooking skills in a more gratifying way? How about cooking 2-3 times a year for the Urban Ministries Women’s Shelter in downtown Raleigh?
Join the St. Francis Meal Ministry – a great family friendly service opportunity! We are a well oiled machine of volunteers who cook dinner the 3rd Wednesday of every month. As a volunteer cook you would be assigned 2 or 3 times during the year to provide: two 2lb meatloaves, 10 baked potatoes, and 10 apples. You prepare and deliver it to a meeting place at 5:45, and another volunteer takes the food downtown and serves it. (We also are accepting volunteer
transporters.) Interested or have questions? Contact Angela Zemonek: email@example.com or (h) 919-847-4353. ___________________________________________________________________________________________

Parishioners needing a Ride: (PARENTS)
Would you consider driving a parishioner to mass? Would you consider driving a parishioner to a doctor’s appointment? Over the past few weeks, we’ve had more calls from people who don’t drive any longer, or people who are having trouble finding rides to/from doctor’s appointments. If you have the time and the heart, please contact Kathleen Owen at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 847-8205, ext 241
