Through our baptism, we are transformed in Christ to be priests, prophets and kings. We live out this call to service through all areas of our lives and in a special way in our Eucharistic Liturgy. In the words of St. Augustine (Sermon 272):
If you, therefore, are Christ’s body and members,
It is your own mystery that is placed on the Lord’s table!
It is your own mystery that you are receiving!
You are saying “Amen” to what you are!
