Eucharistic ministers from St. Francis, along with volunteers of other parishes, serve the patients at Rex Community Hospital on Blue Ridge Road. Our volunteers are trained in hospital visitation as well as Eucharistic ministry. Teams of two to three persons share Eucharist, visit socially, and pray with the hospitalized and their families every Wednesday.
