Consolation and Care - reaches out with God’s healing love and compassion to those grieving the death of a loved one. The Consolation and Care ministry has a mission within the St. Francis Faith Community to reach out with God’s healing love and compassion to those grieving the death of a loved one.
Emmaus Ministry - assists parishioners in dealing with the death of a loved one by helping them with funeral preparations and “walking” with them in their time of sorrow.
Funeral Receptions - provides receptions for family members and friends of the deceased.
Stephen Ministry -Stephen Ministers are volunteers who offer confidential Christian care to those who seek prayerful, emotional support to deal with stress, grief, life transitions or other concerns. They offer empathetic listening, unconditional positive regard, and other resources and referrals as needed. St. Francis’ Stephen Ministry is part of a worldwide caregiving network.
Living with Loss – a six week course on the grieving process with emphasis on support and coping strategies. Please register to be contacted for the next session.

Hospice of Wake County- Helping all those in grief. Hospice provides care for all people in our community who are grieving, even if your loved one did not receive hospice care.
Compassionate Friends of Wake County - A group made up of parents who have lost children of any age.
GriefShare – Find local GriefShare groups. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
