5/23/12. Migrant Ministry: How You Can Help
About
Our mission is to serve our migrant brothers and sisters who labor in the fields and farms of North Carolina from May through October.
St. Francis parish provides a hot dinner to seasonal farm workers and their families once a month in June, July, August and September. We drive the migrant farmworkers to Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary parish in Louisburg, N.C., for seventeen weeks of the summer.
We need 4-6 drivers every Sunday from June through October. To sign up to drive, click here. Four times during the summer, we need volunteers to bring food, cook and serve a meal.
