A great deal of excitement is building for the launch of an action-oriented program called Food for the Soul: JustFaith in 4 Weeks. Based on the popular 24-week JustFaith program, this abbreviated “sampler platter” includes prayer, reading, watching a film, an immersion trip, and plenty of lively discussion. In a group-process format, participants are introduced to the unconditional love and mercy of God, the social dynamics of poverty, and the Christian responses that bring dignity to others.
Food for the Soul: JustFaith in 4 Weeks will take place in the Founders Room in Anthony Hall at St. Francis from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on four consecutive Wednesdays: February 25, March 4, March 11, and March 18. On Saturday, March 28, an exposure/immersion trip will also take place. The group process is integral to the success of the program so a commitment to attend all sessions is required.
To register or for more information, please call Trevor Thompson at 919-847-8205×270 or email at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited. The deadline for registration is February 13.
